David C. Paris is Senior Advisor to the Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement Coalition (CLDE) and Professor Emeritus of Government at Hamilton College. In his role with the CLDE, he is involved in developing programs with respect to accreditation, curriculum and programs, and assessment. Before joining CLDE, he was the Executive Editor of Change: The Magazine of Higher Learning and a Vice President at the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). His teaching and scholarship focused on political theory and public policy.
