Kristina ‘KP’ Powers, PhD is Vice President of Finance and Administration at Menlo College. She has headed institutional research, institutional effectiveness, and assessment offices as well as served as an accreditation liaison at multiple public, private not-for-profit and private for-profit institutions. Other higher education roles have included, serving as an IPEDS Trainer (15 years), the President of the California Association of Institutional Research (CAIR), the NC-SARA Data Advisory Council, teaching and developing institutional research and higher education administration courses at four institutions (12 years), conducting policy education research at the Florida Legislature, and an admissions advisor at the State University of New York, College at Brockport. Kristina earned her PhD from Florida State University in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with a concentration in Higher Education Policy and a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York, College at Brockport.
