Angela Schmiede, PhD, is Senior Vice President for Enrollment and Student Success at Menlo College. She has over 25 years of experience supporting college student success in the areas of student affairs, experiential learning, career services, academic advising, academic support services, international student services, and institutional effectiveness at institutions as diverse as Menlo College, Stanford University, and Vanderbilt University. She is currently Menlo College’s WSCUC Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO), serving since 2015. Angela is a graduate of the WSCUC Assessment Leadership Academy and was appointed to serve as a member of the WSCUC Substantive Change Committee in 2019. She earned an M.Ed. in Human Resource Development from Vanderbilt University, and an M.A. in Sociology and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Stanford University.
