Laura Palucki Blake is the Assistant Vice President for Institutional Research and Effectiveness at Harvey Mudd College, where her primary role is to coordinate data collection, interpretation, and dissemination to support teaching and learning, planning, and decision-making across the college. Prior to joining Harvey Mudd, she was the Assistant Director of the Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP) at the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) at UCLA. She has also held hybrid faculty/administrative positions at Agnes Scott College and Occidental College.
Laura chaired the Board of Directors for the Higher Education Data Sharing (HEDS) consortium and was recently a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Institutional Research (AIR). Her academic work centers on teaching, learning, and assessment in liberal arts colleges, most recently An Integrated View of Student Success in New Directions for Institutional Research.
