Dr. Virginia Njau holds Bachelors, Masters, and PhD degrees in School Pedagogy and Professional Development, all from Università Pontificia Salesiana in Rome, Italy. She also holds a second Masters in Educational Leadership and Management from the Università di Roma Tre, Italy. Dr. Njau has served as a dedicated educator for 12 years in Rome, where she worked as both a teacher and a school director. 
She has also conducted numerous pedagogical and didactic training sessions for in-service teachers in Italy. She is currently the Faculty Development Officer at the United States International University-Africa. Dr. Njau is a member of the Kenya Universities Quality Assurance Network (KuQAN) and the Association for Faculty Enrichment in Learning and Teaching (AFELT).
