Joseph Hoey, EdD. Retired. Former Vice President for Accreditation and Assessment at National University. Dr. Hoey brings 34 years of experience in accreditation, institutional effectiveness, planning, board governance, and assessment with multiple national accreditors. He served as a WSCUC Commissioner, 2018-2024, and currently serves as a consultant to the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar. Joseph holds an Ed.D. from North Carolina State University, a Master of Music from Florida State University, and a BA in Music from UC San Diego.
