The rise of generative AI technologies brings critical questions about how AI is perceived and utilized in higher education across academia globally. In this collaboration between San Diego State University and Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, we will explore the international landscape of AI in higher education. Drawing on data from a survey of over 20,000 students, 1,600 faculty members, and 1,000 staff members we will provide evidence-based insights into how university stakeholders from diverse backgrounds engage with AI tools. Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate and discuss innovative strategies for the academic integration of AI, guided by AI Faculty Fellows and academic leaders from both institutions. This session aims to empower higher education leaders by offering tailored, research-driven approaches to AI.
