Markus Kalkum is a Professor in the Department of Immunology & Theranostics at the City of Hope in Los Angeles County. He is Director for Ph.D. Administration and Admissions, and ALO, of City of Hope’s Irell & Manella Graduate School of Biological Sciences. Dr. Kalkum holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biology, and Pharmacy from the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. Previously, he had worked at the Max-Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin and conducted postdoctoral research in Mass Spectrometry at the Rockefeller University in New York City.
