Dr. Angela Baldasare is a leader dedicated to cultivating a high-performance culture focused on achieving institutional goals. With a strong foundation in sociology and extensive executive leadership experience, she adeptly utilizes detailed analytics to identify challenges and develop effective solutions.
As the Deputy Chief of Staff and Vice President for Institutional Research at National University, Angela drives continuous improvement and institutional excellence through data-driven strategies, particularly in enhancing student success. From 2010 to 2018, she served as the Associate Vice President of University Analytics and Institutional Research at the University of Arizona, where she spearheaded data initiatives that significantly improved retention, graduation rates, student learning outcomes, and institutional rankings.
With over a decade of consulting experience, Angela has partnered with notable organizations, including Civitas Learning, Adobe, Western Governors University, several institutions within the University of Texas system, the University of Colorado, and the Governor’s Office of Arizona.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Speech Communications from the University of Denver, a Master's degree from the University of Arizona, and a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Arizona. When she’s not leading initiatives, Angela enjoys the company of her 3.5-pound Chihuahua, Chica, who frequently makes appearances during Zoom meetings.
