William Shay is a PhD in sociology and has worked for over 30 years in multiple public and private higher education institutions as a senior executive. At present he serves as Sr. Associate Provost at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in south Los Angeles, with lead responsibility for academic personnel and academic program administration. Dr. Shay functions as a chief accreditation officer, including serving as ALO to WSCUC since 2012, and he completed the 2015-16 Assessment Leadership Academy.
