Jamie Dunn is a Data Manager and Analyst for the University of San Diego’s Institutional Research and Planning team, where she hopes to aid in enhancing data literacy and disseminating student data to help support campus decision-making and planning. 


This year is Jamie’s first at the University of San Diego and her first year to present at a professional conference. Before her current position, Jamie worked in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness at San Diego Mesa College. She supported the faculty’s Academic Program Review and Data Coaching courses and played a pivotal role in generating Mesa College’s Institutional Self-Report for accreditation. Likewise, she also served on San Diego Community College District’s Institutional Review Board. 


Jamie earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Linfield College, now Linfield University, and a Master of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University. In addition to her experiences in institutional research at both the University of San Diego and San Diego Mesa College, Jamie also has experience with research concerning issues in higher education and student motivation/learning.
