Victor Carmona, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of San Diego, the only major U.S. Catholic university at the border. Carmona’s teaching and research advance theological-ethical analyses of migration with a global perspective grounded in Latine points of view. He serves USD as Core Director. In that role, he orchestrates the smooth operation of the Core, chairs USD’s faculty-led Core Curriculum Committee, and was the lead author on USD’s recent Core Academic Program Review’s Self Study.
