Dr. Michael Berry currently serves as the Provost at California Aeronautical University, located in Bakersfield, California. He has been involved in the higher education arena for over thirty-five years, and has served in a variety of positions: Director of Student Activities, Housing Director, Business Program Director, Academic Dean of both Online and Residential campuses, Director of Distance Education award-winning College Basketball Coach for both Men's and Women's teams, Director of Distance Education. 

Dr. Berry has also been Owner/Operator of two sole proprietorships and has served as a Church Administrator and also Pastored a small community church..

He is a pilot, car renovator/collector, and competitive pool player.

He is married to his wife Jackie of 33 years, has a son, and daughter with two grandchildren (Barrett and Berlin).
