The era of AI presents unique challenges and opportunities for education. While educators strive to adapt to AI innovations, institutions vary in their approach to students' use of AI tools: some view it as plagiarism, some mandate strict referencing, and others ban it entirely. This divergence can limit students' preparedness for the future. Our research includes classroom pedagogy, students' perspectives on AI tool empowerment, and industry feedback on the necessity of AI tools for productivity. We've developed a roadmap for AI-informed curriculum design. Our presentation emphasizes a first principles model to equip students for an AI-centric world. This involves analyzing relevant future skills, aligning them with the current curriculum, prioritizing human-centric abilities over purely machine-based ones, and ensuring a holistic educational approach.
