Many California-based WSCUC accredited institutions and those seeking WSCUC accreditation must have approval from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education to operate. Others are exempt from approval requirements, but are still required to comply with specific provisions in California law and may contract with the Bureau to meet federal requirements. In this session, Bureau staff will provide an overview of core requirements and answer institution's questions.
