The problem is leaders may not have the data to assess where institutional members stand on cultural competence and the endorsement of diversity initiatives. Using a unique instrument to establish a baseline measure of cultural competence and diversity endorsement can give leaders the data needed to make data-driven decisions and build the culture of the institution from the ground up.
