ARC2024 OPENING PLENARY - The Big Picture: Shifts and Possibilities in Higher Education
Description

ARC2024 will open with The Big Picture: Shifts and Possibilities in Higher Education, a provocative, two-part event exploring challenges and opportunities revolutionizing higher education. In part one, WSCUC Chair Tracy Tambascia and other leaders will unpack the dynamic forces reshaping our landscape and what’s ahead for WSCUC in this time of transformation.

In part two, changemaker and Southern New Hampshire University President Paul LeBlanc shares a ‘fireside chat’ with WSCUC President Jamienne S. Studley. The 2018 recipient of the prestigious TIAA Institute Hesburgh Award for Leadership Excellence in Higher Education, LeBlanc’s innovative vision and commitment to student success transformed SNHU and pioneered new ways of serving learners. LeBlanc will draw insights from his book, Students First: Equity, Access and Opportunity in Higher Education, and discuss his post-CEO plan to explore AI’s impact on teaching and learning and educators’ pivotal role as new technologies revolutionize classrooms and the workforce.
