Monique L. Snowden is the Senior Vice Chancellor for Strategic Enrollment and Student Success at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) and faculty in the Department of Communication. Dr. Snowden is a frequent writer and presenter on learner-centered strategic enrollment management (SEM) and the enrollment logics that guide higher education SEM practice. She was a founding editorial board member of Strategic Enrollment Management Quarterly (SEMQ) and currently serves on the editorial board for College & University Journal.

Prior to joining CU Denver in 2021, Dr. Snowden held senior administrator positions at Northwestern University and Texas A&M University—and most recently served as provost & senior vice president at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, CA. She is a 2015 – 2016 American Council on Education Fellow, former vice president for access and equity on the board of directors for the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), and current teaching faculty for the University of Southern California’s Equity Institutes. Dr. Snowden served on the WASC Interim Report Committee from 2014 – 2017, and has been a frequent workgroup and visiting team member since 2011.

She earned a BBA in Business Analysis; MS in Management Information Systems; and PhD in Communication, with an emphasis in organizational communication—all from the main campus of Texas A&M University.
