Bio

Susan holds a B.A. in Psychology from Siena College, and a Ph.D. in Literacy from the University at Albany. Susan has worked extensively on initiatives connected to access and equity, diversity and inclusion, disability services, athletics, and international student support; she serves on the national steering board for the Consortium for High Achievement and Success (CHAS), and trains faculty and staff at colleges and universities in Intergroup Dialogue (IGD) pedagogy. At Skidmore College, where she worked before coming to CMC, she was also part of the small faculty team responsible for creating the first Intergroup minor in the nation. Susan is a native New Yorker, an avid athletics fan, and loves gardening, making pizza, hiking and spinning, and spending time with her family and friends.
