Esperanza Villegas is an Assessment Analyst for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning, where she assists with assessment planning and reporting by Academic and Operational Units, qualitative analysis for campus wide surveys, and data governance. Esperanza holds a BA in Communication from the University of CA, San Diego, and an MFA in Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles and enjoys applying her skills of structured storytelling to her assessment approach to search for ‘themes’ in the data that inform action plans for improvement to support student learning and success.
