Su Swarat is the Senior Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness and Planning, and Accreditation Liaison Officer at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), where she provides leadership and oversees operations for strategic and enrollment planning, institutional and programmatic assessment, quality assurance, institutional research, analytical and educational research, and data governance. Prior to this role, Su served in several leadership positions at CSUF, working collaboratively with campus partners to establish an effective and sustainable campus-wide assessment process that supports teaching and learning. Before CSUF, Su served in similar capacities at different institutions leading student learning assessment, program evaluation, and research and scholarship of teaching and learning (particularly in the STEM fields).  Su received her Ph.D. in Learning Sciences from Northwestern University, and holds a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in areas of Biology.  A graduate of the WSCUC Assessment Leadership Academy, she actively pursues her research interests, which include assessment and evaluation, STEM education, student interest and motivation, and faculty development.
