In health professions education, a capstone course offers a culminating experience that focuses on the synthesis, integration, and application of previously acquired knowledge and skills to complex real-world problems. Capstones help graduates to develop a wide range of skills and capabilities relevant to employability, social engagement, and lifelong learning. This presentation will shed light on the status of capstone experiences in US PharmD programs to help students demonstrate their ability to provide patient-centered care.
