Description
NOTE: Space is limited, pre-registration is required
Effectively representing the work of your institution in an accessible and engaging way can be a daunting challenge. This workshop will explore how you can use narrative techniques and principles from effective storytelling to develop evidence-based and evidence-rich reports and communications. The content is designed to be helpful in planning, engaging your constituents, developing reports and communications, and executing the entire process. We will discuss a range of ideas and questions including:
- What exactly is “institutional storytelling”?
- What are the key issues I need to understand?
- How can my institution plan and implement the principles of an effective narrative in institutional review?
- How can we create the best possible impact of our institution’s story?
- What resources are available to help us?
- What lessons can be learned from the experiences of other institutions?
This interactive workshop features substantial opportunity for questions and interaction.
