The study was conducted for ILO assessment of two cohorts: freshmen from fall term 2018 and fall term 2019. The intention of the study was to compare the trajectory of two different groups of undergraduate students to determine the following hypothesis: The accomplishment of the institutional graduation profile competencies for undergraduate students of grounded education in UPAEP’s campus is faster and more meaningful by complementing the students’ formation with extracurricular activities, such as sports, international experiences, and scholarships. ILO assessment data based analysis was conducted to compare both groups, concluding that students in the experimental group achieve faster the ILO-tied competencies, compared to students in the control group.
