This workshop is designed to provide participants with the tools needed to assist their institutions with the development of Substantive Change proposals. Participants will gain an understanding of incorporating the approval process into planning and resource allocation. Examples of good practices and model elements, including resources and templates to help you get through the process successfully will be shared. We will also look at common reasons why Substantive Change proposals are not approved and provide tools for avoiding these pitfalls. Time will be reserved at the end for individual questions about your upcoming proposals.
This workshop is particular to preparing proposals. Informational sessions about the Substantive Change process are offered in the general program.
